Brandon's passion for technology began at the tender age of six when he actually fixed his Apple II computer. Since then, this Long Beach/Lakewood native has not looked back. After a stint in the Marine Corps, Brandon entered ITT Technical Institute in 1994 and began his apprenticeship in computer services at MPI Computers in Long Beach. Upon graduation in 1997, Brandon struck out on his own, representing IBM in providing computer services at Northrop Grumman. He eventually moved on to become the head of the IT department at Hollywood Stock Exchange (HSX.com), and later managing computer systems for the entire office of Kusar Court Reporting. He is now part of an elite IT team that keeps the Orange County Sheriff's Department running. Brandon has a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, but he prefers to display his combat skills in PC games (MMORPG mostly).
Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, Oakley began her American life in 1993 as a high school junior. Somewhere during her years focusing on advertising at the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communications, Oakley got in touch with her inner technophile/geek. After graduation, she spent time at HSX, learning the way of the tech world, and furthering her experience in customer care as a Community Development intern. Oakley later returned to USC for her master's degree in Information Technology Communication Management, and spent 2 years at a public relations firm. Oakley now applies her skills in web design and virtual group communication, and public relations to her current position as Communications Manager for a non-profit organization in Downtown Los Angeles. When not busy tinkering with her website creations or blogging, Oakley spends her time perfecting her various aspirations: cooking, writing, and making noises on piano and guitar
